Check out these great examples from some folks who have done just that with dressers and chests of drawers. With some paint, stencils, decoupage and a little imagination, you too can create your own custom furniture masterpiece!

Wow, what a huge round up! It's amazing how just putting on a new coat of paint can make such a difference. I love the color gradation idea.

  2. Amazing transformations here. Quite a wonderful collection. I did refinish one dresser years ago, just the standard sanded, stained, and varnished, but it was a fun challenge.

    1. I have two pieces I've been "holding on to" that are ready for makeovers - an antique sewing table and an armoire... hopefully I will get the time to tackle them this summer!

    1. Thanks for the pin! I too am waiting for warmer weather to do my furniture projects. I need ventilation when painting and refinishing so they will have to be done in a warmer season when I can open my garage doors!
