Something Old, Something New

Broken China Jewelry by Laura Beth Love

It's been a while since I've used an oxidized, blackened patina on my silver soldered metalwork broken china jewelry, but I think these two new pieces turned out great! Poppies are one of my most favorite flowers and when I found this antique English chintz china, I knew it would be perfect transformed into a few unique pieces of jewelry. I love the bright pops of color that contrast with the blackened silver. Find them here before they disappear!

Unique necklace completely handcrafted from vintage china. This artisan metalwork pendant is expertly hand-soldered and one of a kind. This unique pendant features silver wire with genuine Garnet, Pearl, Green Aventurine, and Swarovski crystal beads throughout. I carefully soldered the wire to the pendant with silver solder and then oxidized the metalwork with a black patina, then hand buffed it to a beautiful antique silver finish. I make each one by hand from start to finish and no two are exactly alike.
