Upcycled Chandelier Crystals for Your Winter Garden

As if snowy pine branches weren't beautiful enough! What to do with those odds and ends of old chandelier crystals you may have lying around? Here's an idea!

Hang them individually or in groups from a favorite tree branch (maybe the one you can see from your kitchen window?) and enjoy them year-round.

How to? Stringing them with fishing line is usually a smart option - not only is it strong and sturdy, but it's also transparent, which doesn't distract from the scene. Wire or other types of cord and yarn can work too.

Here's some cold-weather inspiration...

Happy New Year to you! Wishing you a 2026 filled with health, wealth, peace, and happiness.

The Upcycled Garden in Winter - Volume 2

I'm ready for spring!

Not sure if it's ready for us yet, though. It's been a pretty terrible winter here in Pennsylvania this year; too much cold and ice, though I am thankful we only suffered a few inches of snow. I think the most we had in one snowfall was only four to five inches. I'll take it.

Now, if they could just get everyone to stay off of the roads during ice and freezing rain!

I'm ready for Spring, and I'd be willing to guess that you are too.
