Free Printable! Love Grows At Home China Plate

 


Hi friends! 

Today I have this beautiful red china plate that reads "Love grows at home" and it measures 8" by 8" at 300 DPI but you can size it down smaller if needed. Perfect for Valentine's Day or any day.

This beautiful artwork is for you to print out at home (or you can take the file to a printer and have them print them out for you, they are .jpg files.)

Use them for crafts, card making, in your scrapbooks or junk journals, print out as wall art for your home, or for any paper craft you can think of - but know that my graphics are for personal use only and not for commercial use. That means you may not sell or give away the images or the files and you may not claim to be the artist of this artwork - the copyright remains with me. By downloading these images to your computer you agree with the terms of use.

Red Lips Wall Art From Recycled Wood Pallets






With Valentine's Day right around the corner, who could resist these giant red kissing lips made from recycled & upcycled wood shipping pallets? Not me! I think they are so cool and would make a great bright spot anywhere you need a fun, bright pop of color in your home—or workspace! 

Why not create your own for yourself or your sweetheart — imagine the color possibilities! 

You don't have to stick with red, how about pink or a shade of deep red wine, funky electric blue, green, or even Goth black?

Antique Red English Transferware: Old Britain Castles




This is the Old Britain Castles china pattern made by Johnson Bros and it's one of my
favorite china patterns. It was produced in a few different colors such as brown, lavender/eggplant, and this red. Some folks refer to it as pink, but it looks more
 red to me so I call it red.

Independence Day Inspiration - The 4th Of July

Make a Patriotic Berry Trifle like this one from Key Ingredient by layering pieces of torn angel food cake, strawberries, blueberries, and cream cheese mixed with heavy cream and sugar (or you can use cool whip mixed with cream cheese, that works too!)
Here is the recipe:

  • Ingredients
  • 1 premade angel food cake 
  • 1/4 cup plus 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 pound room temperature cream cheese 
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 pints blueberries
  • 2 pints strawberries, hulled and sliced

Directions:
Heat 1/4 cup sugar, the lemon juice and 1/4 cup water in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove saucepan from the heat and stir in the almond extract.

Slice a premade angel food cake in half horizontally through the middle of the cake, creating two pieces. Brush both sides of each slice of cake with the syrup. Cut or tear the cake into 1-inch cubes.

Beat the remaining 2/3 cup sugar and the cream cheese with a mixer on medium speed until smooth. Slowly add the cream and beat on medium-high speed until smooth and the consistency of whipped cream.

Arrange half of the cake cubes in the bottom of a 13-cup trifle dish or other similar dish. Sprinkle evenly with a layer of blueberries. Pour half of the cream mixture over the blueberries and spread gently. Top the cream with a layer of strawberries. Layer the remaining cake cubes on top of the strawberries, then top with more blueberries and add the remaining cream mixture. Finish with the remaining strawberries and blueberries, arranging them in a decorative pattern if desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
