My Favorite Things: Handcrafted Boho Necklace Trio

These are three necklaces that I made for myself a few years ago that I love to wear together... Choker length:  a strand of 8mm faceted Chalcedony...Medium length: a rosary-like chain of 5mm freshwater pearls with fine gauge sterling silver wire (I think I used 24 gauge wire)...and the rectangular pendant is Amazonite surrounded in fine silver wire wraps with a circular moon and star bead above it. I love them all.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Colorful Mixed Media Butterfly Necklaces Made From Vintage Ephemera Illustrations

Newly listed in my Etsy shop...
these necklaces are made from beautiful vintage butterfly illustrations that have
been copied and applied to paper. The paper is then adhered to thin wood and then
laser cut and then sealed. The reverse side of each one is painted black. Each has a
brass chain that measures between 19 and 20 inches long, and each has color
coordinating beads or crystals. Check them out!

Have a great week!
Laura

Necklaces Made From Antique Halloween Post Cards

I create each of these pendant necklaces using antique & vintage postcards.
But don't worry, no original postcards are damaged in the process!

The images are unusual, funny, and even odd.

Each image is preserved behind a square of clear beveled glass. The pendants

are then soldered with silver solder, and then each is given an antique finish.

What do you think?

I hope you have a great week
Love, Laura

New Jewelry Made From Broken China

I've been a busy bee and just last night finished up a brand new batch of
jewelry made from broken antique china.  I handcraft each piece of jewelry
from start to finish - each piece starts out as a broken or damaged plate that
is then transformed into wearable art. The finished result is a beautiful keepsake
piece of heirloom quality broken china jewelry. Each is a labor of love!

Check them out!
