Vintage Turquoise Fiestaware Jewelry in My Etsy Shop!

Hi friends! I hope you are having a great New Year! I sure have been keeping busy. I always get a burst of inspiration and industriousness at the New Year.

I often get requests for jewelry made from vintage Fiestaware china, but I don't often make it because, to tell you honestly, it can really be hard on my tools!

It's not something I bet you'd guess, but from my side of things, yes, it is some tough stuff (and the reason you can find so many great vintage pieces around today!)

I did have this one imperfect vintage turquoise blue Fiesta bowl, though - and it had some flaw from the kiln when fired, I think; I forget at the moment exactly what it was, but I found it at a thrift store and grabbed it when I saw the vintage back stamp maker's mark. I knew it would be perfect (if not really tough to cut) for jewelry!

Of course, there is only one manufacturer's "Fiesta" mark per piece, so this heart is pretty special. It costs a bit more than most of my standard pieces, mostly because it is difficult to cut and my tools wear and tear, )not to mention it took me FOREVER to cut out Lol.) However, I can only make one back stamp piece per plate or bowl, which increases its value.

So anyway, here it is!

Like what you see? You can find it here in my Etsy shop.

Happy New Year!
