Don't throw away those old, paint-chipped Christmas tree ornaments!
Instead, why not think about displaying them in a different way, or upcycling
them into something new like one of the pretty displays shown below?

ReplyDeleteThank YOU.
Thanks,glad you liked the post!
DeleteToo cool! I love old ornaments. I keep some on my chandelier year round! I packed and shipped 15 dozen today..I'm wrapped out! I love the shabby old ones best. One word of caution about the "vase" one, if you add water to the inside of an old one, all the silvering will wash out!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip!
Deletei love these ideas, hadn't really thought of reusing old bulbs! this is great because i do have some vintage ones that i haven't broken out yet either.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I like the idea of using the old bulbs too! :)

DeleteThese are great ideas! I see tons of old ornaments at thrift stores all the time, and these would be an excellent way to use them.
ReplyDeleteI've gotten into the habit of always hitting the holiday section at thrift shops and rummage sales - always bags of old ornaments - I find them off season and stash them away for holiday crafts.
DeleteOh love! I remember some old ornaments when i was a child.

DeleteHappy Holidays! Just wanted to let you know that 4th photo on this post is from my blog, Into Vintage. I would love it if you would amend your post to include a link to my blog post where my photo originated (and eliminate the indulgy link). Thanks so much!
