Antique Red English Transferware: Old Britain Castles

This is the Old Britain Castles china pattern made by Johnson Bros and it's one of my

favorite china patterns. It was produced in a few different colors such as brown, lavender/eggplant, and this red. Some folks refer to it as pink, but it looks more

 red to me so I call it red.

My Favorite Of The Bunch: Brown & Pink English Transferware Necklace

Yesterday I showed you the cut out shapes of jewelry that I've been working on

this week, and said how the brown with the pink rose was my favorite. Well I love

it even more now and if it doesn't sell right away I just might keep it for myself!

Well I guess I could always make another like it...

Antique Teal English Transferware With Irises

I loved this antique teal English transferware with iris pattern so much that I used it 

for one of the projects in my new book, BoHo Chic Jewelry. Over the years I've looked

 for iris floral patterns on china, but I've found them to be a bit rare. You don't come 

across iris patterned china very often!

Old Britain Castles English Transferware

One of my favorite china patterns to work with is Johnson Bros Old Britain Castles (this was also the china pattern of the necklace I made that was featured in Country Living magazine last month.) Here are a few favorite jewelry pieces that I have created from this classic pattern.
