I've been looking for them for the last 40 years! We are right on the fall line here in Chesterfield co and. We have two good creek systems that run through the county. And along those creeks is where we find the most! I don't know if you have any creeks close by but if you do, look on the first hill or knoll closest to the creek above the flood plain. That's where you will find them. Good luck!<br />Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09660136706251737821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5508733528711241001.post-87307002260500347012018-07-29T09:59:42.129-04:002018-07-29T09:59:42.129-04:00Yeah I love looking for arrowheads. My grandpa probably had around 400 of them in mint condition, all different styles, and even more that were partially broke (even those were cool) that he found while plowing his field over decades :-) I dont think he had any axeheads though, which amazes me because they had to be all over the area there, probably just not something he looked for while working.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5508733528711241001.post-90919112566818450912018-04-25T14:01:30.428-04:002018-04-25T14:01:30.428-04:00That's cool, and probably lots of fun when you...That's cool, and probably lots of fun when you find them. As a matter of fact, my daughter found some shells when we were looking.Laura Beth Lovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01480311392497475468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5508733528711241001.post-89358163691219230852018-04-25T12:07:54.423-04:002018-04-25T12:07:54.423-04:00Great finds. I don't have any idea about what tribes were here but it is still very special to find these.Jean Tuthillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11683722965659309942noreply@blogger.com
