Wow, what a huge round up! It's amazing how just putting on a new coat of paint can make such a difference. I love the color gradation idea.

  2. Amazing transformations here. Quite a wonderful collection. I did refinish one dresser years ago, just the standard sanded, stained, and varnished, but it was a fun challenge.

    1. I have two pieces I've been "holding on to" that are ready for makeovers - an antique sewing table and an armoire... hopefully I will get the time to tackle them this summer!

    1. Thanks for the pin! I too am waiting for warmer weather to do my furniture projects. I need ventilation when painting and refinishing so they will have to be done in a warmer season when I can open my garage doors!

  8. I love the upcycled look on furniture, you have gathered an amazing collection for us to drool over. Thank you for the time and effort. I would be happy to share the wallpapered furniture I have been doing for 15 years now. I have all kinds of designs and patterns with helpful tips. You can find it on Pinterest at http://pinterest.com/danisdesigns/my-very-own-diy/ and on Etsy at http://pinterest.com/danisdesigns/my-very-own-diy/. If anyone has questions I would be happy to help. I love being able to do this work and finding joy in taking something about to be discarded and giving it a brand new life.
    Thanks,

  10. I love this post! I recently redid a dresser too, and so far am loving it. (I did a whole post with pics about it on my blog!) The process was enjoyable as well-I wish I had the space, time, money and need to keep redoing them. I loved the inspiration from this that I could maybe do to other pieces of furniture too!
